CAREER SERVICES

 

The primary mission of Career Services at Siena Heights University is to provide students and alumni assistance with identifying a career, developing a professional plan, evaluating and implementing career choices and creating a professional image.  Career Services staff will assist students with engaging in self assessment; obtaining occupational information; exploring employment, graduate and professional school opportunities; and professional preparation including presenting themselves effectively as candidates.  Career Services is committed to providing personal attention to students needing assistance in all aspects of their career path.

Eastern Michigan University's Fall Career Fair is open to all majors, any student, community member, and job seeker. It will be held at EMU's Convocation Center which is located at 799 N. Hewitt Rd. November 9, 2016 @ Michigan Virtual Career Fair (10am-4pm)  

Michigan is one of the first states to host a Virtual Career Fair! Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with recruiters one on one via web cam or online chat. You can upload your resume and apply to hundreds of jobs, or go to the networking lounge and chat with others. There is also a career resources center! All you need to do is register and it's FREE! This is a great opportunity designed to help job seekers engage with employers and recruiters in a virtual space.
