Office of Marketing and Communications

The Office of Marketing and Communications oversees all communications, publications, multimedia, marketing and web site management for the University and is part of the Office of Institutional Advancement.
The Office consists of:
  • Director: Doug Goodnough
  • Senior Communications Specialist: Jeff Masse
  • Senior Communications Specialist: Liesel Riggs
  • Communications Specialist: Angela Sieler
  • Multimedia Specialist: Laura Harvey
  • At times, this office also has several students who work either as interns or part-time employees to help in the creative/development process.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Alumni magazines and newsletters, photography, internal publications, presidential communications, programs, donor communications, brochures, flyers, postcards, posters, newsletters, direct marketing pieces
  • Brand management, event planning, publicity and coordination, research, marketing plan implementation, promotional video/DVD, communications (internal and external), social media, video campus events, advertising, crisis communications, media and public relations
Web Site
  • Oversees the day-to-day operations and messaging (content management, video, etc.) of the University web site ( and the long-range planning of these areas.
